This work sits in the space between comfort and pressure, asking when tending to ourselves stopped being a quiet act and became a full-time performance. It asks whose voice you hear when you look in the mirror, and whose idea of “better” you have been chasing.

By gathering the excess into one place, Buried by Big Beauty makes visible what usually lives behind closed doors: the weight of shoulds, fixes and upgrades we have been taught to carry alone.
